Executive Coaching

Organizations recognize the value of executive coaching as an important tool for retaining and developing executives, managers and professionals who will guide organizations into the future.

LMC International has been an early provider of executive coaching and has assisted senior level employees in the following areas:

Behavioral Realignment

In behavior realignment the coaching focuses on assisting individuals with patterned behaviors that are impacting their job effectiveness. The process includes identifying the problematic behaviors, developing strategies for modifying them and implementing new courses of action.

Management Credibility

In this case the coaching process helps individuals who are losing credibility among the management team. Coaching enables them to understand which behaviors create credibility problems and implement a course of action to deal with it. The process can also help new members of the management team gain credibility.

Strategic Positioning

Many executives are being asked to be more strategic and in some cases it may include reduced involvement in the daily operations of the business. Through coaching, executives are able to clarify the requirements of being more strategic and identify and implement new role behaviors so their key business partners can perceive them in this way.

Career Potential

In this case, the coaching process helps valued employees identify a suitable and satisfying career direction within the realities of typically flatter organization structures.

Executive Coaching Process

The process is normally separated into 2 distinct phases:

  • Identifying Coaching Potential: involves in-depth behavioral testing (Birkman which can be completed on Internet), 360 feedback with key stakeholders and structured discussions with the executive.
  • Implementing a Coaching Plan: working with the executive on a regular basis to develop and implement new strategies that are tested within the organization. It is beneficial to ensure any new action is sustainable which requires a sufficient timeframe for the coaching .
