Career Transition Programs - 9 Month

Designed for senior managers and long term employees requiring personalized job search assistance, this program provides extensive re-employment services for 9 months. Like all LMC re-employment programs it is based on one-on-one consulting sessions and includes use of office and administrative services but provides for full career testing and in depth financial counselling.

Overall the program includes:

On-site attendance by a senior LMC consultant at termination to provide immediate support to terminating manager and employee.
Individual counselling for a nine month period to ensure support for an effective and active job search.
Provision of the LMC Job Search Manual.
In depth financial counselling by an outside consultant.
Self-assessment and extensive testing (including the Birkman) to expand and explore career options, develop a career focus and identify development needs related to career direction
360º associate feedback with report
Assistance in developing and executing job search strategies and detail marketing plan
Focused attention and support on developing a good business network
Preparation of market focused resume(s)
Assistance with letter writing including ad response, networking, self-marketing, and thank you letters
Intensive interview training that is videotaped and carefully reviewed with the individual.
Participation in all seminars
Entrepreneurial support for those interested in self-employment
Evaluation of job offers and assistance in negotiating permanent or contract agreements with prospective employers
Full administrative support, use of office space, in-house business reference library and private voice mail box
On-site computers with direct access to Internet; training on how to use the Internet for job search and self-employment
Customized Internet research assistance to target employers and industries, and to prepare for interviews
Access to extensive job postings; current list of major search firms
